KARACHI: The custodian of an imambargah was shot at and critically wounded in a suspected focused assault within the Ancholi space on Monday, police mentioned.
The Samanabad police mentioned {that a} lone assailant driving a motorcycle fired at Hyder Ameer Ali, 40, when he was about to enter his house in Federal B Space’s Block 20.
He suffered two bullet wounds within the neck and chest and was shifted to the Aga Khan College Hospital the place his situation was acknowledged to be crucial.
A police spokesperson mentioned that the wounded man was the custodian of the Imambargah Ali Asghar, which he had established on the floor ground of his house.
Central SSP (Investigation) Kanwar Asif mentioned that it seemed to be a focused assault because the assailant didn’t try and loot him.
