ABU DHABI: France and the United Arab Emicharges on Tuesday signed a “strategic partnership” on synthetic intelligence (AI) geared toward boosting cooperation between them, French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire advised AFP.
The settlement signed with Khaldoon Al Mubarak, managing director of the Abu Dhabi government-controlled fund Mubadala, opens “a brand new period of financial cooperation” within the burgeoning sector, Le Maire mentioned.
“France has chosen to be the main nation in Europe on AI, and for that, we want companions,” he mentioned throughout a go to to the Gulf state on the head of a delegation of entrepreneurs and start-ups. “4 new areas of cooperation can be opened and developed within the coming months,” together with research and talent improvement, a part of which can be completed through the Abu Dhabi department of the Sorbonne, Paris’s main college, Le Maire mentioned.
